Our company is looking for a skilled direct response copywriter to join our performance marketing team. As our Performance Copywriter, you will write and refine ad copy across channels, working from creative briefs and iterating based on performance data. This role is perfect for someone with a strong grasp of direct response principles, a proven ability to write copy that converts, and a love of moving fast across formats, hooks, and angles.
What You’ll Do
- Copywriting & Iteration: Write and rewrite ad copy for Meta and other performance channels based on creative briefs; Develop a range of hooks, angles, and formats to support ongoing creative testing; Iterate on copy based on performance data and testing results; Maintain brand voice while optimizing for conversion
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the performance marketing and creative teams to align copy with campaign goals
- Craft & Trends: Stay current on direct response copywriting trends and best practices
Who We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a direct response copywriter, ideally within e-commerce or DTC.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-performing ad copy.
- Experience working from and rewriting creative briefs.
- Ability to write across multiple formats, hooks, and angles quickly.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing and how copy drives results.
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
