Copy Editor
Our Client is seeking an experienced Copy Editor to join their team in the Financial Services industry. This role involves producing high-quality, brand-aligned content while contributing to the development and maintenance of the company’s brand voice standards. The ideal candidate will have strong editing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional corporate environment.
You Will:
- Edit content that aligns with the organization’s brand voice and corporate identity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce content for internal and external audiences.
- Assist in defining and maintaining brand voice standards and corporate content guidelines.
- Research and fact-check to ensure content accuracy and credibility.
- Proofread and edit materials with a strong focus on grammar, punctuation, and adherence to AP style guidelines.
- Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
You Have:
- 4-6 years of professional copywriting and editing experience in a corporate environment.
- Expert knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and AP style guide standards.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience contributing to brand voice development and maintaining consistency across content.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional corporate environment.
- Excellent research and fact-checking abilities to ensure content accuracy.
Logistics:
- Start Date/Duration: Starting ASAP for a 6-Month Contract
- Hours/Week: 40 Hours/Week
- Onsite/Offsite: Remote working roughly ET or CT hours (*Must be based in the US)
