About Heirloom Roses
Heirloom Roses is redefining what it means to be a modern horticulture brand. Rooted in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, we began as a nursery devoted to growing the world’s finest roses — cultivated for beauty, fragrance, and performance. Today, we’re expanding that legacy to help people create gardens that inspire and endure.
We are known for uncompromising quality, meticulous craftsmanship, and a deep respect for both plants and people. As we grow beyond e-commerce into a multi-channel brand, clear, compelling, and trustworthy communication is essential to our connection with gardeners everywhere.
About the Role
We’re seeking a Part-Time Copy Editor to support our growing brand and marketing team. This person will safeguard the clarity, consistency, and quality of our written content across digital and print channels.
This role is ideal for someone who loves language, understands consumer brands, and can bring precision and polish to a wide range of content – from product descriptions to emails to editorial storytelling.
The Copy Editor will work closely with our content, marketing, and product teams to ensure every piece of writing reflects our brand voice, supports our customers, and maintains the high standards of the Heirloom name.

– Collaborate with writers, marketers, and product owners to improve messaging and strengthen storytelling.

– Provide quick-turn edits as part of a fast-moving marketing calendar.

– 3+ years of professional editing or copyediting experience (brand, agency, consumer goods, or editorial environments all welcome).
– Exceptional command of grammar, syntax, and style; mastery of Chicago style.
– Ability to adapt tone and voice while maintaining consistency.
– Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
– Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines.
– Collaborative mindset and clear communication skills.
– Experience with consumer goods, lifestyle brands, gardening, or home categories is a bonus but not required.
Why Join Us
