Copy Editor / Content Strategist – $50/hr – $60/hr
We’re seeking an experienced Content Writer/Editor to join our studio team supporting a well-known financial services client. In this role, you’ll create and refine marketing content that financial advisors use to attract, engage, and retain clients (40 hrs/week). This is a fully remote role lasting through the end of the year.
You’ll develop content across social media, email, articles, brochures, presentations, and other client-facing materials, translating complex financial concepts into clear, compelling, and compliant communications. Success requires strong financial services marketing experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to balance accuracy, strategy, and creativity in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, edit, and optimize advisor marketing content across multiple channels.
- Translate complex financial and investment topics into engaging, client-friendly language.
- Ensure content aligns with brand, compliance, editorial, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with advisors, strategists, designers, compliance partners, and subject matter experts.
- Apply content strategy and messaging frameworks to drive engagement and business goals.
- Transform creative briefs into clear, concise copy for marketing and design teams.
- Manage a high volume of deliverables while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
Qualifications:
- Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience in financial services, investment, or wealth management marketing.
- Expertise in content strategy, business writing, and digital content creation.
- Ability to simplify complex information without sacrificing accuracy.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- 7-10 years of experience in content, editorial, communications, or marketing roles, preferably within financial services.
