Content Writer (Healthcare) – $35 – $50 an hour
Sixfold is a fast-growing healthcare marketing agency helping innovators reshape the industry through smarter content, stronger storytelling, and strategy that drives measurable results. We’re looking for a part-time content writer with healthcare expertise and strong interviewing skills to support our expanding portfolio of health plans, PBMs, TPAs, pharmacy consultants, patient advocacy organizations, and health-tech platforms.

What You’ll Do
- Write high-quality content across formats: articles, insights, whitepapers, case studies, web copy, nurture campaigns, and more.
- Conduct interviews with internal SMEs, client executives, clinicians, and industry leaders to source expert insights.
- Develop smart, strategic question sets for interviews, discovery sessions, and research-driven content.
- Transform transcripts and notes into polished, on-brand copy that reflects the voice of Sixfold clients.
- Break down complex healthcare concepts (payment integrity, pharmacy, benefits administration, regulatory requirements, ACA compliance, transparency rules, etc.) into accessible, accurate content.
- Support content strategy with research, angle development, and narrative framing.
- Collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and account leads to deliver content that meets goals and timelines.
- Edit and refine drafts for clarity, accuracy, flow, and brand alignment.
- Manage multiple assignments at once with a strong sense of ownership and deadlines.

What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of professional writing experience, ideally in healthcare, health-tech, benefits, pharmacy, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proven interview skills—comfortable preparing question sets, guiding conversations, and extracting strong insights.
- Experience translating SME data and conversations into crisp, engaging content.
- Strong grasp of healthcare terminology, trends, regulations, and industry dynamics.
- Ability to write in multiple tones—from thought leadership to product marketing to executive ghostwriting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and proactively communicate progress and needs.
- Agency or consulting experience is a plus.
