We are looking for an experienced content writer with a deep understanding of commercial real estate (CRE) and finance to create high-quality, engaging, and informative content tailored to our audience of real estate sponsors, fund managers, and investors.
Job Overview
As a Content Writer at SponsorCloud, you will be responsible for developing well-researched and engaging content that supports our thought leadership, lead generation, and customer education efforts. You will work closely with the Lead Content Strategist and Inbound Marketing Lead to execute content initiatives while ensuring alignment with our brand and audience needs.
Responsibilities
- Write exceptional-quality content, including well researched articles, reports, whitepapers, newsletters, and tactical guides.
- Collaborate with industry experts for strategic content partnerships.
- Conduct industry research to create compelling and informative content that can bring us linkable assets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and information for industry benchmarks and reports.
- Assist in crafting copy for social media posts, customer emails, and PR releases.
- Collaborate with the Lead Content Strategist to ensure content aligns with SponsorCloud’s messaging and marketing goals.
- Optimize content for SEO to enhance search rankings and engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in content writing within the commercial real estate (CRE) and finance industry.
- Strong understanding of real estate investment, syndications, and financial regulations.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to break down complex financial and real estate concepts into clear, engaging, and actionable content.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research.
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and analytics tools.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple writing projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience writing for B2B SaaS companies, particularly in financial technology.
- Knowledge of SEC regulations, 1031 exchanges, and tax-advantaged real estate investing (SDIRAs, Opportunity Zones, etc.).
- Background in journalism, communications, finance, and real estate-related fields.
