Content Writer 4 (Remote in Washington St, Texas, or Florida) – $108,000 – $116,500 a year

Nextant is looking for our next Content Writer 4 with a strong background in UX writing and content design. In this role, you will shape the user experience through language, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to bring clarity, consistency, and humanity to the Azure AI Foundry.

You will contribute to the end-to-end Azure AI stack—encompassing Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, AI Services, and the infrastructure that powers some of the largest AI workloads in the world.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary design team in CoreAI Platform and Tools to develop seamless end-to-end user experiences in Azure AI Foundry.
• Design and write content for in-product experiences that help customers achieve their goals?
• Design experiences through the lens of language, leveraging expertise in user experience design, design thinking, and product strategy.
• Design, write, edit, and test clear, compelling in-product language that adhere to Microsoft’s style guides and best practices.
• Understand, employ, and evangelize our content design principles, coherence guidelines, and content design evaluation tools.
• Identify opportunities for content additions, improvements, and innovations and effectively pitch those ideas to the team and stakeholders
• Perform functional and editorial quality assurance on content as appropriate.
• Work directly with design, engineering, PM, and developers to create and refine product features.
• Utilize research and data to extract user insights that inform design decisions.
• Follow design system patterns, brand voice principles, and style guides to ensure accessibility and usability.
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.

 

Requirements:

• 8-10 years’ product design experience with an emphasis on content.
• There is no degree that is required for the role.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Figma
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience with generative AI technology- back end or front end
• Minimum 5 years UX experience
• Proficient in Figma and Microsoft products.
• Hands-on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end
• Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile software development lifecycle

Pay Rate:

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000 – $116,500 in Washington State. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline. Nextant considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills, and other market and business considerations when extending an offer.
