About the role
We are looking for a dynamic part-time English/French bilingual Content Editor role at Greenpark, based in Canada. This is a dedicated content role with the primary objective of maximising website traffic and brand awareness for an FMCG in Canada. This is a remote role, located in Canada and managed from the USA and London.
A performance mindset and the ability to own a project end-to-end are essential. This role will work closely with our search and performance team to support the content needs of a leading multi-brand FMCG. It’s an opportunity for the right person to make the role their own- becoming an essential partner to the client, with a deep understanding of their business, products, and audiences. A desire to collaborate with international teams, along with strong skills in organisation, workflow management, and process, are also key to success in this role.
What you’ll do:
- Contribute to an exciting always-on content project focused on driving traffic and brand awareness for a large FMCG in Canada.
- Collaborate with our SEO performance team to identify opportunities to optimise, rewrite, and transcreate copy to drive web traffic.
- Audit existing content sites across the globe to identify material for transcreation and localisation for a Canadian audience in both English and French.
- Work closely with brand teams to align content with their priorities and manage the workflow of copy through revisions and sign-off.
- Manage a content calendar and tracker to ensure output and project goals are being met.
- Audit existing web content to improve quality and performance.
- Optimise existing copy using briefs from the SEO team to boost performance in Canada.
- Localise content for a Canadian audience, taking into account language, grammar, and cultural nuance.
- Transcreate English content into Canadian French and optimise it for search.
- Edit and proofread articles for clarity, grammar, and style, ensuring consistency in tone and voice across all content.
- Fact-check and ensure all content meets editorial standards and aligns with brand tone of voice (TOV).
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of digital editing experience.
- Solid understanding of SEO and KPIs related to organic traffic success. Familiarity with Google Analytics, Semrush, and AdWords tools. Must have experience working closely with SEO teams.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong experience working with external clients and managing communication lines.
- Native English and French speaker and writer, with experience in translation and transcreation from English to French.
- Strong sub-editing experience, preferably with a focus on SEO-optimised copy.
- Experience working with brand teams and maintaining client contact.
- Inbound marketing expertise (content marketing and SEO).
- Preference for candidates with experience in the personal care and health and wellbeing sectors.
- Ability to work across channels, including web and social.
- Strong project management and workflow experience.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
