Ivy Experience is looking to fill a full-time College Admissions Specialist position to help students with the rewarding and challenging college admissions process. This position is salaried and permanently work-from-home. Appropriate technology, including a laptop and cell phone, will be provided.

These responsibilities include:
- Project management, including setting deadlines, managing progress toward short- and long-term goals, reviewing and approving assignments
- Meeting with students and families, sometimes individually, to address concerns, review progress, and resolve conflicts.
- Providing students with constructive feedback on drafts for the entire process, from the initial stages of research and planning to drafting and revision to the final editing stages
- Reviewing essay drafts for storytelling elements (such as voice, theme, and narrative structure) and supporting students with revisions, structural edits, and proofreading & copyediting
Throughout the year, responsibilities include:
- Copywriting and creating content for the company website, blog, and social media accounts.
- Creating curriculum to educate students, support families, and help grow the company as an educational hub for those navigating the admissions process
- Managing a variety of administrative tasks, such as recording notes on students and databasing information
- Serving as an integral member of a close-knit team working with students and families from across the country and around the world
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Comfort serving in a front-facing role and managing complex projects
- Expert communication and organizational skills
- Skills in editing text to align with word count
- Strong technology skills, including demonstrated proficiency in Google Suite and Zoom.
- The ability to respond promptly to students and/or parents and to hold students accountable to deadlines
- The ability to thrive working independently for long periods
- A genuine desire to support high school students and their families through the high-stakes and often stressful college admissions process. We seek team members who are invested in coaching our students on ways to express themselves authentically, think critically about their futures, and discover their unique paths.
Additional skills we value in candidates:
- Knowledge of SEO marketing techniques, PR, and public speaking
- Experience with Google Analytics
- Experience creating and/or innovating administrative systems and databases
- Experience in WordPress
