Children’s Book Writer (Grades 3–5, ELA)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Creative Children’s Book Writer with a flair for storytelling to develop engaging and age-appropriate content for Grades 3–5 (ELA). The ideal candidate will be imaginative, skilled in crafting narratives that resonate with children, and have a deep understanding of educational frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Write original, compelling, and age-appropriate stories for children in Grades 3–5.
- Ensure alignment with ELA standards and curriculum goals.
- Develop characters, settings, and plots that spark curiosity and imagination.
- Collaborate with editors, illustrators, and curriculum experts to refine content.
- Incorporate diversity, inclusivity, and creativity into all writing projects.
- Revise content based on feedback while maintaining creativity and originality.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, Creative Writing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a children’s writer or curriculum content developer (preferably Grades 3–5).
- Strong knowledge of ELA curriculum standards.
- Excellent creative writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to write with clarity, simplicity, and engagement for young readers.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in educational publishing or working with learning materials.
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and multimedia integration.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Experience:
- CHILDREN BOOK WRITING: 3 years (Preferred)
- ELA ELEMENTARY EDUCATION : 3 years (Preferred)
- PUBLISHING : 3 years (Preferred)
