Position Summary: Center Street Lending is seeking a Brand and Content Strategist to help build the brand and content marketing function of a growing private lending and financial services company. You’ll have the opportunity to test the limits of your creative abilities with blue-sky creative possibilities while at the same time honing and refining the foundation of a market-proven brand that is distinguished by its renowned customer service. You’ll work closely with the SVP, Marketing and Marketing team, including creative and brand professionals, working across a host of touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:

Establish, lead, and own the content and brand functions across the Brand and Creative Marketing Teams and build the infrastructure to grow our creative capabilities.

With the SVP, Marketing and other leaders, establish current and future brand architecture, including brand toolkit, messaging, positioning, and differentiation.

Work closely with the SVP, Marketing and Creative Director to formulate and formalize the current and future brand identity, including visual assets, a cohesive “look and feel,” and a brand/style guideline.

Establish an artistic and creative strategy to ensure all ideas align with the Center Street Lending brand.

Own competitive research and thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscapes, and target audience behaviors.

Work closely with external agencies and partners to execute branding initiatives.

Develop a content strategy that aligns with the company’s goals.

With external teams, plan, design, create, edit, and publish content.

Use analytics tools to collect, analyze, and report on content performance

Ensure a consistent brand voice across all communication channels, and report on the effectiveness of content strategy

Articulate complex ideas in a concise and effective way — both internally and with external partners.

Mentor and lead creative teams.

Experience and Qualifications:

5+ years of experience working as a Senior Brand Manager or Brand Director in an agency or in-house Marketing team; 12+ years of marketing experience total.

Proven ability to deliver innovative and exceptional campaign creative through strong conceptual ideas and highly effective production/execution.

Experience in brand-building initiatives, including (but not limited to) creating highly engaging digital, social, and in-person experiences.

Experience working in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.

Collaborative and team-oriented approach.

Clear and effective communication skills.

Experience managing a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel.

A portfolio featuring a range of creative and integrated campaigns, with a diversity of ideas and approaches to problem-solving.
