ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for experienced writers to create football betting content for our Goal.com betting section.

Successful writers will deliver thought-provoking football betting insights and have a strong grasp of the betting landscape, including which operators, offers and features resonate with our audience.

We are looking for writers for the following editions:

• UK

• France

• Italy

• Spain

• Brazil

• Argentina

• India

• South Africa

• Nigeria

• Ghana

• Kenya

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Writers will create original, well-researched and entertaining content in line with the latest SEO considerations.

Content will be a split of betting insights and predictions for major matches (including local leagues) and articles promoting betting operators and offers.

• Research and write content based on topics and suggestions from our editorial team

• Remain up to date with the latest sporting trends

• Ensure the timely delivery of all content assignments in line with the agreed content plan

• Ensure that all delivered content is accurate, well-written, grammatically correct and free from factual errors – all delivered content should be ready to publish

• Monitor betting markets and trends to ensure content provides real value to the reader

WHAT YOU HAVE

We must be a football and betting enthusiasts and able to create engaging content for our football-savvy audience.

• A wealth of football insight and knowledge on the major and local leagues

• A strong knowledge of football betting terminology, markets and value selection

• A creative spark and a flair for content creation – the ability to offer a different perspective or spin on topics

• A strong knowledge of football data with the ability to objectively analyse trends and apply data insights to content

• A good understanding of the betting landscape, including operators, offers and features

• A proactive and reactive approach to work given the timely nature of the created content

• Strong SEO skills with a working knowledge of best practices

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
