Senior Content Writer, Hat Tip – $70-$90k/year
Hat Tip is an exec content agency for B2B SaaS companies. Our job is to help SaaS co’s turn their exec’s social presences into GTM levers through compelling content.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced content writer to help own end-to-end content production, from ideation to finished drafts.
What You’ll Do:
- Write 30-40+ LinkedIn posts per month across a portfolio of clients
- Conduct or participate in bi-weekly founder interviews and mine transcripts for compelling topics
- Match each client’s voice with enough precision that edits from the founder become minimal over time
- Track what performs and adapt your approach accordingly
What We’re Looking For
What We’re Looking For
- You love writing. That sounds obvious, but we mean love writing.
- You can write in someone else’s voice without making it sound like a writing exercise.
- You understand LinkedIn as a platform (how the algorithm works, what earns saves and sends vs. what earns empty likes, etc.)
- You have a trained eye for AI-generated writing and can spot it immediately. You would never submit work that reads like it came out of ChatGPT with no human touch.
- You can take a 45-minute rambling founder interview and pull out the three ideas actually worth writing about.
- You can write a hook that makes someone stop mid-scroll (and you understand why most hooks fail).
- You’re comfortable producing high volume without sacrificing quality.
- You take feedback well and log it so the next round improves.
- You’re organized enough to manage multiple clients on overlapping timelines without dropping anything.
- You’re a self-starter.
What Will Get You Noticed
- A personal LinkedIn presence or portfolio that shows you practice what you’d be preaching
- Experience writing for founders, executives, or thought leaders in B2B
- Familiarity with content strategy frameworks (TOF/MOF/BOF, content buckets, funnel mapping)
Salary: $70-$90k, depending on experience.
