Freelance Quality Control Editorial Expert, Clinical Trial Marketing

We are seeking a freelance Quality Control Expert to review clinical trial marketing and patient recruitment materials before client delivery. This role ensures work is accurate, compliant, brand-aligned, and ready for launch across digital and print channels.
The ideal candidate brings strong proofreading and quality assurance experience in regulated healthcare or clinical trial communications, with the ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, and compliance risks before release.
Key Responsibilities
- Review clinical trial marketing and patient recruitment materials for accuracy, grammar, formatting, compliance, and brand consistency
- Confirm alignment with approved source documents, protocol language, and reference materials
- Verify that edits, approvals, links, dates, disclaimers, and contact details are correct before delivery
- Review deliverables across channels, including email, web, digital, print, and patient-facing materials
- Flag issues, resolve discrepancies with internal teams, and help improve QC processes as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QC, editorial, production, or operations experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated marketing environments
- Experience reviewing compliance-sensitive materials, ideally in clinical trial recruitment
- Excellent attention to detail, proofreading skills, and knowledge of QA workflows
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and proofing or collaboration tools
