We’re building an NFL YouTube channel focused on high-retention storytelling videos
The content is centered around:
• player stories
• list-based storytelling (ex: one-year wonders, biggest busts, etc.)
We’re looking for a scriptwriter who can consistently deliver engaging, fast-paced scripts that keep viewers watching from start to finish.
Ideal Candidate
Understands YouTube storytelling (not just writing facts)
• Can write in an engaging, conversational tone
• Knows how to structure scripts for retention
• Has interest in sports (NFL preferred)
• Can turn simple notes into compelling narratives
• Understands pacing, flow, and strong transitions
• Experience writing for sports YouTube channels
Job Requirements
• Write ~1,600-2,000 word scripts per video
• Follow a structured storytelling format
• Keep scripts engaging and easy to follow
• Avoid robotic or Wikipedia-style writing
• Be open to feedback and revisions
• Consistent turnaround time (we will discuss timeline)
