Copywriter position for Monkedia – $800.00 per month
About The Role:Monkedia is a fast-growing digital marketing agency looking for a creative, detail-obsessed Copywriter to help shape the voice and messaging for a diverse portfolio of brands. In this role, you’ll write high-performing paid social copy, translate client briefs into clear messaging frameworks, and collaborate with designers and strategists to bring ideas to life.

Key expectation and a non-negotiable factor is that the ideal candidate works full-time during US onshore core hours and ensure online availability the entire time for effective communication with the Director of Paid Media at all times. Details will be provided on the 2rd round of interview with the Associate Creative Director at Monkedia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Copywriting & Messaging Development
- Write paid social ad copy and occasional website copy tailored to client goals and brand voice.
- Create and maintain brand voice guidelines across accounts.
- Translate client briefs into clear messaging frameworks for designers and production teams.
- Conduct competitor and industry research to strengthen creative direction.
- Build creative maps that outline concepts, hooks, and visual recommendations.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with account managers, designers, copywriters, and strategists to align on priorities.
- Clarify requests, ask necessary follow-up questions, and push back when needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Ad Operations & Trafficking
- Load and publish paid social ads in Meta Ads Manager, Business Manager, and internal platforms (Jungle, Dashboard).
- Ensure accurate setup, naming conventions, and targeting selections before ads go live.
- Creative Scheduling & Task Coordination
- Manage and assign creative tasks within Teamwork Dashboard based on workload, priority and deadlines..
- Quality Assurance & Creative Review
- Serve as a detail-focused QA checkpoint for all creative assets before delivery.
- Maintain quality standards to reduce revision cycles and support on-time delivery.
- Workflow, Tools & Process Adoption
- Use project management tools (Teamwork, Asana, Trello, etc.) to manage tasks and deadlines.
- Quickly learn and adapt to evolving tools, workflows, and internal systems (training provided).
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to streamline processes, ideation, and documentation.
Qualifications:
- 2–3+ years of professional copywriting experience across digital channels
- 1–2+ years of experience in administrative support, account management, or project coordination (agency or creative operations experience is a plus).
- Proven attention to detail and strong ability to QA creative deliverables.
- Experience using project management tools such as Teamwork, Asana, Trello, etc.
- Strong time-management, multitasking, and prioritization skills; able to handle ~20–25 tasks weekly.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to follow up, clarify requests, and push back when needed.
- A quick learner who is comfortable adapting to new tools, processes, and workflows (training provided).
- Preferred:
- Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager or paid-social trafficking workflows.
- Experience working in an agency or creative review environment.
- Basic copywriting background.
- Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, prompt libraries, automation tools) for workflow efficiency.
- Experience working on a remote/distributed team.
