About the Role

We’re hiring a long-term YouTube Scriptwriter to work directly with the Head of Content and Brian Jung, the creator behind a 2M+ subscriber YouTube channel in the finance, investing, and crypto space.

This is not a generic writing role.

You’ll be responsible for turning high-level ideas, market context, and creator direction into clear, beginner-friendly, high-retention YouTube scripts written in the creator’s voice and ready for recording.

You’ll regularly sit in on ideation and outlining calls, ask questions, and help translate complex topics into scripts that millions of people actually understand.

We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the channel long-term, improve their craft, and become an integral part of a high-performance content team.

What You’ll Be Doing

Core Responsibilities

  • Write long-form YouTube scripts based on approved ideas and outlines
  • Research finance, macro, investing, and crypto topics using reputable sources
  • Break down complex concepts into simple, engaging explanations for beginners
  • Accurately replicate Brian Jung’s tone, pacing, and storytelling style
  • Fact-check claims, statistics, and data points
  • Participate in ideation and planning calls with Brian Jung and the Head of Content
  • Revise scripts based on feedback until they are record-ready
  • Occasionally contribute angles or improvements that increase clarity, retention, or storytelling impact

All scripts must be original, accurate, and written specifically for the channel.

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

  • Proven background in long-form scriptwriting and/or ghostwriting for digital creators
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently write in someone else’s voice
  • Strong understanding of finance, macroeconomics, investing, and/or crypto
  • Experience simplifying complex financial topics for beginner audiences
  • Professional-level English proficiency
  • Strong research and fact-checking discipline
  • Comfortable working inside a structured content pipeline with feedback and revisions
  • Reliable, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented

Nice to Have

  • Prior ghostwriting experience (for creators, founders, or public figures)
  • Experience writing for a YouTube channel or a content creator
  • Experience working with finance, fintech, or crypto companies
  • Familiarity with YouTube retention, pacing, and storytelling frameworks
