We’re looking for a scriptwriter to write high-retention scripts for YouTube Shorts.
What you’ll do
- Write concise, engaging scripts for short-form videos
- Create strong hooks and satisfying payoffs
- Adapt to an existing writing style and structure
- Write scripts optimized for AI voice narration
Required skills
- Strong storytelling ability (hooks, pacing, payoff)
- Experience with YouTube Shorts / TikTok-style content
- Ability to write short, punchy sentences
- Solid understanding of viewer retention
- Strong English (clear, natural, energetic tone)
- Familiarity with meme culture & internet trends
- Ability to research topics and fact-check information accurately
Requirements
- Must follow detailed instructions exactly
- Consistent, fast & reliable output
- Open to revisions & LOTS of feedback
- Capacity to write 14+ scripts per week
- Over 1 year of scriptwriting experience
