Overview
A New York City–based luxury fashion brand is seeking a freelance copywriter to support ongoing content needs across digital platforms. This role is ideal for a sharp, detail-oriented writer with a strong point of view, fluency in luxury brand language, and a clear understanding of how copy performs across email, web, social, and search.
You’ll work closely with internal marketing and digital strategy teams to craft copy that is polished, strategic, and aligned with brand voice.
Responsibilities
- Write clear, compelling copy for email marketing, website content, social media captions, and select brand communications
- Develop on-brand messaging that balances creativity, clarity, and commercial intent
- Optimize digital copy for SEO, including keyword integration and best-practice formatting
- Edit and proofread all content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and tonal alignment
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to support campaigns, launches, and ongoing content needs
- Manage and update copy within content management systems as needed
- Contribute to brand storytelling and messaging across channels
- Stay current on digital marketing, social trends, and evolving content standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably within fashion, luxury, or lifestyle
- A portfolio demonstrating strength across email, web, social, and brand copy
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and digital content strategy
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for detail
- Ability to adapt voice while maintaining brand consistency
- Comfortable working independently, managing deadlines, and collaborating remotely
- Familiarity with CMS platforms; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
