Role Description
This is a volunteer remote role for a Contributing Writer at GamblingHarm.org. The Contributing Writer will be responsible for researching and crafting articles, blog posts, and features on topics related to gambling, sports betting, and consumer protection. Responsibilities include conducting in-depth research, developing compelling, accurate, and engaging content, proofreading and editing written materials, and collaborating with the editorial team to meet content guidelines and publication deadlines. The ideal candidate will ensure all content aligns with the organization’s mission and maintains high journalistic standards.
Qualifications
- Strong writing, content creation, and article development skills
- Experience with research and fact-checking to ensure accuracy in content
- Editing and proofreading skills to polish and refine written articles
- Understanding of topics such as gambling, sports betting, or consumer protection.
