We are seeking an empathetic and creative Educator Storyteller & Community Specialist to join our marketing team on a remote contract basis. You will be the heart of our Educator Spotlight program, responsible for finding, interviewing and telling the stories of the incredible educators who use our products. You will also be a key voice in our online community, fostering vibrant conversations and building a space where educators can connect and share.

What You’ll Do
- Story Sourcing: Proactively identify and reach out to educators in our community to discover compelling success stories.
- Conduct Engaging Interviews: Build immediate rapport with teachers, librarians and program directors to capture their authentic experiences in in-depth video interviews.
- Craft Compelling Content: Transform interview transcripts into a full suite of marketing assets, including landing page copy, promotional emails, video scripts and social media posts.
- Build & Engage Our Educator Community: Serve as a key voice in our online educator community. Spark conversations, answer questions and foster engagement on social platforms, helping us build a foundation for future community initiatives.
This Role is Perfect for You If:
- You have a background as an educator with a journalistic passion. You understand the realities of the learning environment and know how to ask the right questions.
- You are an exceptional interviewer who is naturally chatty, empathetic and comfortable being on camera.
- You are a gifted writer and storyteller, capable of adapting your tone for different marketing channels.
- You are comfortable and professional on social media platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook and enjoy fostering positive online conversations.
- You are a self-starter who is highly organized and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bonus Points: Experience in K-12 education, EdTech or online community management is a major asset.
The Opportunity
This is a flexible, part-time role starting at 15-20 hours per week, with the potential for more hours as our community and content initiatives grow.
