Social Content Editor
We’re looking for a creative and performance-driven Social-First Video Editor to join our team and take the lead in shaping Jun Yuh’s https://www.instagram.com/jun_yuh/?hl=en personal content presence across Instagram and TikTok. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with Jun and his creative team to craft highly engaging short-form videos that resonate with audiences, set trends, and push the boundaries of storytelling on social media.
This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes content, has a keen eye for trends, and can balance fast-turnaround, with polished, high-quality storytelling. If you’re passionate about social-first storytelling and know how to create content that performs, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the creative direction of Jun’s personal day-to-day content on his main channels, as well as managing the creative editing for social campaigns.
- Browsing through Jun’s existing Instagram and identifying consistent key themes or messages to shape new content directions
- Developing fresh short-form content ideas inspired by top-performing formats on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Creating scripts or storyboards for new concepts; assisting Jun in filming (if remote) and then editing the content.
- Gathering inspiration from other creators or trends and using it to inform new concepts and editing approaches.
- Justifying creative choices with data and insights, showing how each piece of content will fit Jun’s brand and why it’s likely to perform well
- Jumping into brainstorms with the team and bringing your own creative spin to shoots and ideas
- Keeping an eye on what’s trending across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts – and experimenting with new formats/transitions to keep content fresh
- Moving fast! Getting clips out while they’re most relevant, without losing quality
- Iterating edits based on data and performance so each video lands better than the last
Requirements:
- 2+ years editing social-first video content (for a brand, creator, or even your own page)
- Proficiency in editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and social-native apps like CapCut
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, and what performs on each
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual style for mobile-first audiences. Plus, good understanding of what makes good content – shots, edits, captions, hooks, transitions, or graphics.
- Quick turnaround ability; you can cut, polish, and ship content fast
- Bonus if you have motion graphics/animation skills (After Effects or similar)
- Comfortable working closely with a creative team, taking feedback, and bringing your own ideas to the table
- Data-driven but also creative. You know how to balance trends, insights, and storytelling
