Social Media Manager Position Summary: The Social Media Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of OBHG’s social media presence in alignment with strategies and priorities set by senior marketing leadership. This role focuses on content creation, scheduling, community engagement, and program coordination — ensuring that content is delivered on time, on brand, and optimized for audience engagement. The Manager will collaborate with internal teams, clinician ambassadors, and external vendors to bring OBHG’s stories to life, while ensuring all work adheres to established brand guidelines and compliance standards.

Position Responsibilities: Essential
- Implement and execute OBHG’s existing organic social media strategy, as defined by the SVP of Marketing & Customer Experience, across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Maintain and manage a dynamic content calendar aligned with brand priorities, recruiting campaigns, clinical moments, and cultural relevance.
- Manage the Clinician Ambassador Program, identifying and elevating clinician voices across platforms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure content is consistent, timely, and on-brand.
- Produce and post content across assigned channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook), following established brand voice and visual identity.
- Create and edit platform-native, engaging content using approved templates and tools — including short-form video, visuals, and editorial copy — often sourced from OBHG clinicians and leaders.
- Monitor content performance and deliver regular reporting to senior leadership summarizing key engagement metrics, with insights to optimize strategy and creative direction.
- Stay on top of social trends, platform updates, and emerging formats, flagging relevant opportunities for leadership consideration, to keep OBHG relevant and innovative in our storytelling.
- Leverage approved AI-powered tools to enhance content ideation, efficiency, and experimentation across the full content lifecycle.
- Act as the brand’s voice in online social media conversations by monitoring, moderating, and responding to comments, messages and mentions.
Essential Skills/Credentials/Experience/Education
- 4+ years of experience managing social media content for a brand, with a strong track record of growing audience engagement and reach
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling, brand-aligned social copy across platforms
- A strong creative eye and familiarity with developing, editing, and producing social-first content
- Experience managing content calendars and cross-functional campaigns involving multiple stakeholders
- A data-informed mindset and ability to translate social metrics into strategy
- The ability to confidently manage vendor relationships, providing clear direction and feedback
- A high level of comfort working on camera and collaborating with others in branded content when needed
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- Experience with Sprout Social publishing and analytics platform for scheduling, approvals, insights, and social listening
- Experience with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Adobe FireFly, etc. and design/video tools (Canva, Descript, etc.)
- A collaborative, curious, and proactive approach to your work — with a passion for elevating OBHG’s mission and the people behind it
Preferred Skills/Credentials/Experience/Education
- Experience in healthcare, recruiting, or employer branding
- Familiarity with B2B2C communications and storytelling
- A strong understanding of ethical content practices in regulated industries
- Experience managing and scaling brand ambassador or social advocacy programs
Mental and Physical Demands (per ADA guidelines)
- Physical Demands: Sitting for long periods of time. Occupation requires this activity more than 66% of the time (5.5+ hrs/day)
- Travel Demands: May require up to 20% travel on average
Annual Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000, based on relative experience.
