Role Summary
The Junior Copy Editor V will support the editorial team by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity of all written materials. This role reports to the Senior Content Manager and collaborates closely with writers, designers, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and proofread copy for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style compliance.
- Verify factual information and ensure consistency across multiple content pieces.
- Apply and uphold the company’s editorial style guide in all communications.
- Coordinate revisions with writers and designers to implement feedback accurately.
- Monitor project schedules to meet editorial deadlines.
- Maintain version control and organize content assets for efficient access.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in copy editing or related editorial roles.
- Exceptional command of English grammar, syntax, and style conventions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
