Social Media Manager/Copywriter – $55.00 – $70.00/hr
Our client, a global tech giant known for its family of social media platforms, is looking for a Social Media Manager to join the team supporting their official brand social accounts. This role is responsible for writing content for the client’s flagship social media handles across Instagram, Threads, Facebook, and more. The ideal candidate has first-hand experience writing content optimized for various social platforms and is deeply immersed in internet culture and trends. They are a strong copywriter with experience collaborating with global teams to create text-based social content. This person thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and is equally comfortable with strategic planning and quick-turn execution.
Responsibilities
- Write snappy, creative copy for all social surfaces, aligned with the brand voice
- Collaborate with producers to ensure copy complements visual content
- Identify and translate emerging trends into engaging social content
- Brainstorm engagement-driven posts for text-based platforms
- Craft interview questions for featured creators to inform post captions
- Understand the interests and behaviors of the brand’s global audience and tailor content accordingly
- Enforce editorial standards and help evolve the brand’s voice and tone
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience writing or editing social copy for a brand
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Experience with rapid-response communications
- Ability to distill interviews into concise, engaging language
- Experience writing for an international audience
- Strong storytelling instincts and a passion for social media, humor, and emerging culture
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 – $70.00/hr.
