Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread web and print content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Review grammar, punctuation, spelling, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Enforce established editorial standards across all materials.
- Collaborate with writers and project managers to refine messaging and maintain tone.
- Track revisions and manage version control within content management systems.
- Conduct fact‑checking to verify references and uphold content integrity.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects to meet established deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in copyediting or related roles.
- Proficiency with AP Style, Chicago Manual of Style, or comparable editorial standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to editorial quality.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and familiarity with content management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage competing priorities.
