Senior Copywriter – $50 – 52 per hour

We’re seeking a talented Senior Copywriter to join our client’s internal creative studio. This role requires exceptional creative skills, proven ability to manage and mentor a copywriting team, and experience within both healthcare-related industries and agency environments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop compelling creative concepts and high-quality written content aligned with brand voice and strategic goals across print and digital media.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure consistent verbal and visual quality.
- Ensure all materials are produced accurately, consistently, and within required timelines.
- Adhere strictly to compliance guidelines and regulatory restrictions.
- Stay informed on business challenges and competitive strategies to ensure content relevance and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Proficiency in AP and/or Chicago Manual of Style.
- Familiarity with Workfront project management tool a plus.
- Understanding of writing applications across traditional and emerging channels.
- Ability to maintain consistent voice and audience focus in writing.
- Skill in streamlining content to clearly and concisely convey key messages.
- Strong attention to quality control.
- Knowledge of specific channels or vertical markets relevant to role.
- Ability to adapt copy style for various audiences, purposes, and media.
- Comfortable presenting creative work to managers, peers, stakeholders, and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree required (English, journalism, communications, or related field preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years professional writing experience.
- External or in-house agency experience required.
- Pharma, healthcare, or life sciences experience preferred.
- Experience managing and mentoring copy teams.
- Global organization experience preferred.
- Experience working within highly regulated industries required.
- Proven ability collaborating within a creative in-house studio, including partnering effectively with internal and external design resources.
- Demonstrated experience writing for brands, products, services, and campaigns.
- Brand storytelling experience required; experience with brand identity (tone) and positioning preferred.
- Ability to write, edit, and clearly communicate creative briefs to copy team, studio, and broader organization.
- Proven experience writing copy across multiple channels; multi-channel campaign experience preferred.
