Long-Form Content Editor – $59K – $64K/year
Type: Freelance (with potential to grow)
Location: Remote or Lancaster, PA
We’re Taylor Chip, a dessert company built from date nights making cookies. We’re growing fast, and we want to start documenting the journey in a way that’s thoughtful, consistent, and genuinely worth watching.
We’re looking for an editor who can help us shape that story. Not as a one-time doc. Not as a show pitch. But as a monthly rhythm, content that captures what it really looks like to build a brand from the inside out.
The role looks like:
- Taking character-led footage (talking, doing, building) and shaping it into narrative-driven 8–20 min episodes
- Helping us figure out what the story is…not just cutting footage, but collaborating on structure and flow
- Making the content feel human, emotional, and real, without over-producing it
- Bringing a YouTube-first mindset (retention, pacing, storytelling)
- Working in a style that’s clean and intentional, but not overly polished
You’re a good fit if you:
- Have experience editing vlogs, branded storytelling, or founder-led YouTube content
- Background in creating your own projects from start to finish
- Can create emotional momentum through pacing, music, and scene selection
- Understand how to keep people engaged without needing flashy effects
- Are a solid communicator who can collaborate asynchronously
If you’re into meaningful storytelling and building something from the ground up, let’s talk.
