Scriptwriter: TV Character Analysis Channel | Donny Else
Tired of amateurs? … This is serious.
If you want to make a serious career as a writer for a professional channel, and you’re tired of amateurs who don’t know what they’re doing and flake out after a couple videos, then let’s talk.
I am a businessman with a career spanning 8 years, having made $290k / year in take-home profit. I’ve worked for two billionaires (you’d know their names if I told you) and my background includes business consulting, sales, marketing, HR and operations.
I’m all in… no turning back now.
I’ve already invested north of $25k into launching a new channel. I’ve partnered with one of THE premier YouTube experts in the world today (you’d know his name if I told you).
I don’t mean the fluffy definition of “partnered”… I mean out of 14,000 applicants, I was one of 15 people who he actually selected to take equity in my YouTube business.
He has a vested interest in my business’ success and I have direct access to him, as well as his experts. He has over 12 channels profiting $20k-$40k / month each, and he knows the YouTube game better than anyone.
This is a BUSINESS… and it’s endless.
Notice how I didn’t say “channel”. I said “business”. Part of my business consulting background, has allowed me to see the science behind growing from $0 to $10M and even to $100M.
We’re creating something massive that will reach millions of subscribers. At this size, I’ll need people who are hungry to get promoted … channel managers, who are ambitious enough to work themselves out of a job and who can now hire, train and oversee other employees and make incredible money.
Why I’m so sure this will crush? … The research.
Over the last 2 months, we’ve spent countless hours going through a very specific research phase that includes competitor analysis and TAM analysis (Total Addressable Market).
Where amateurs fail, is they start channels in niches where there is not a big enough market. They also fail to create a unique angle and their market for views is small.
We’ve identified a market that not only has a massive market for views, but is within a niche that I have a unique edge. I have watched the classic movies and TV shows dozens of times and have a unique knowledge regarding people and human behavior, having spent hundreds of hours reading and doing practical studying around this subject.
The channel:
It’s called Donny Else and it’s brand new. It consists of video essays analyzing and criticizing the behavior of TV/movie characters (their mistakes, choices, relationships, etc).
The unique angle is a cynical and humorous narrator who picks apart the behavior of the character in the TV show or movie. The market for views is massive due to the baked-in audiences around these TV shows and movies, but also markets of people who have never seen the particular movie or show, who are interested in things like mistakes, relationships etc. These are things 100% of people can relate to.
Are you the one?
I’m looking for a dedicated and passionate writer who is willing to commit to this long-term. We’re going to be working hand-in-hand together. I invest a lot of time to help you be successful and we’ll have a lot of fun in the process. I need someone who’s willing to give 100%. Ideally, if you have knowledge and a passion about TV and movies (Friends, Suits, Mad Men, etc.), this is a significant plus. So is having a sense of humor and social IQ.
Initial requirement is 1-2 scripts per week, with the potential to expand to more down the line. Script lengths will range from 1,500 to 3,000words.
If you are enthusiastic about creating top-tier content together, I would love to hear from you.
