Copywriter, Counterpart Communication Design – Estimated: $48.3K – $61.5K a year

As a writer, you’ll play a key role in creative development — from ideas to execution. You’ll get to work on a world-renowned Fortune 50 brand, as well as on other brands, primarily in digital media, but also traditional. You’ll collaborate with designers, other writers, project managers, and content strategists on a wide variety of marketing communications work. And you’ll help carry forward the reputation of a company known for outstanding writers.

Following is the job description. Does this describe you?
Education: Bachelor’s preferred, in marketing, journalism, communications, or related major.
Experience: One to three years writing persuasive copy for a variety of media.
Responsibilities: Writes customer-centric communication that’s clear, compelling, and controlled. Short- and long-form. Interprets briefs to understand project requirements. Collaborates with designers, creative director, and project managers to determine and clarify concepts and direction. Conducts research. Makes revisions as needed. Attends client meetings as needed and participates in SME interviews. Maintains high quality standards. Delivers on time. Pursues skill development at every opportunity. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Native to Apple OS. Advanced in Microsoft Word. Proficient in PowerPoint. Comfortable in Excel. Solid understanding of principles and best practices of SEO and content marketing.
Supervisory responsibilities: None.

Reports to: Associate Creative Director of Writing
Labor status: Professional position, exempt from most federal and state labor laws.
