Pay Rate: $85-90/ hour (W2), DOE
Contract Length: ASAP-11/21/2025 (with potential for extension)
Location: Remote – West Coast preferred
Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced UX Writer / Content Strategist to join their wearables content design team. You will play a key role in shaping the user experience for next-generation smart glasses and the companion app. This includes everything from onboarding and voice interactions to troubleshooting flows and AI integrations. You’ll also help build out documentation, standards, and templates used across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Design, Marketing, Engineering, and Product Management teams.
- Develop user-centered content for wearables companion app and devices.
- Own content strategy and delivery for key feature areas—naming, notifications, navigation, accessibility, and more.
- Support the development of templates and UX documentation standards for internal tools and partner resources.
- Proactively manage timelines, deliverables, and communication with partners to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Participate in the creation of scalable design and interaction systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of UX writing, content strategy, or content design experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing systems thinking, UX content, and product writing.
- Experience collaborating with high-impact teams and across multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient in Figma with demonstrated ability to design within complex systems.
- Ability to grasp new technologies quickly and create intuitive user content.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working with wearable tech or smart glasses.
- Background working on AI or emerging tech products.
