Quick Background… I will be applying for medical school later and I realized that my writing style is not ideal for writing rec letters. Additionally, my professors who wrote my recommendation letters aren’t the best at writing either. They have, thankfully, entrusted writing my own rec letter to me and to increase the diversity of voice, I am posting this job here.

Job Details:

• Role 1: Hiring 5 writers at $120 per letter You’ll be rewriting existing drafts of recommendation letters written by professors. Your job is to enhance them for clarity, voice, and overall impact. These are for top medical schools—quality matters. Each letter will be ~1.5 pages, and specific context/instructions will be provided.
• Role 2: Hiring 1 writer at $170 This role is strategic: you’ll help plan the overall content strategy across all letters, provide structured feedback, and guide the tone/structure of the set. You won’t write the letters directly but will shape how they complement one another.

Additional Notes:

• Letters already exist in rough form—this is not from scratch.
• No hard deadline, but I expect regular progress. Preferably done by end of 2025.
• Expect multiple feedback rounds and tight collaboration with me.
• Confidentiality is essential. You will have access to personal documents (resume, transcript, etc.)
• Payment will be upon satisfactory results. If accepted as a writer, you will receive a deposit of $30 initially and the rest of the compensation upon completion. Feedback will be plentiful and given.
