About the Role: We are seeking an experienced, creative, and detail-oriented Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate is an English major with over 3 years of experience in writing compelling content, including copywriting for ads, landing pages, video scripts, and more. Knowledge of SEO writing, research, and tools for both website and YouTube content is essential. Experience in healthcare content is a bonus, but not required. This is a full-time remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Write engaging and clear content for various platforms, including websites, blog posts, landing pages, video scripts, press releases, newsletters, decks, and more.
- SEO Writing: Utilize SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and meta tag creation to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
- Copywriting: Write persuasive copy for direct-to-consumer (DTC) and business-to-business (B2B) audiences, with a focus on driving conversions.
- Video Scripts: Create scripts for video content that align with marketing goals and resonate with the target audience.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough research to ensure the content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date. Utilize research tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and others for content and SEO strategy.
- Stay Current with Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest content and SEO trends, applying these insights to content development and optimization strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align content with overall strategy and messaging for various campaigns.
- Content Strategy: Assist in developing and executing content strategies that align with company objectives and audience needs.
- Editing & Proofreading: Ensure all content is free of grammatical errors, meets style guidelines, and aligns with brand voice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English or Journalism.
- 3+ years of professional content writing experience (healthcare experience is a plus).
- Proven expertise in copywriting for digital platforms, including landing pages, paid ads, newsletters, and other DTC/B2B materials.
- Strong knowledge of SEO writing techniques and tools, including keyword research and content optimization.
- Proficient with Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, readable content.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with YouTube content optimization and video scriptwriting.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the healthcare industry or familiarity with healthcare content.
- Knowledge of social media content best practices.
- Experience in marketing or content agency.
