Scriptwriter (Animation History Documentary) – $50-$200 Per Project
I’m looking to expand into longer documentary-style breakdowns of behind-the-scenes stories about making animated movies and TV shows. Its something new for me so hoping to find someone to help develop the style and tone for this series.
Your job would be to do in-depth research on the topic provided, create an outline, then write a script for a 10-min video.
You must be able to craft high-energy, emotionally gripping, and fast-paced scripts.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should have a love for ANIMATION but also….
• Proven experience writing scripts for highly engaging YouTube content, shows, or short films.
• Mastery of storytelling psychology—knowing when to build tension, deliver twists, and maximize emotional impact.
• Fast-paced, high-energy writing style that keeps audiences hooked.
• Ability to write in various tones, from comedic to dramatic.
• A deep understanding of YouTube trends and what makes content viral.
• Strong research skills to ensure factual accuracy, engaging storytelling, and trend integration.
• Quick adaptability to revisions and tight deadlines.
Job Requirements
• Experience: 1-5 years in scriptwriting for YouTube, TV, or digital media.
• Writing Skills: Exceptional dialogue, pacing, and story structuring that drive viewer retention.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with scriptwriting software like Final Draft, Celtx, or Google Docs.
• Soft Skills: Creativity, collaboration, adaptability, and quick turnaround time.
• Availability: This is a project-based role, with potential for long-term collaboration. Candidates must be able to work under deadlines and deliver high-quality scripts efficiently.
