Copywriter wanted: Hillhouse Creative – $1,500 Monthly
JOB DETAILS: Part-Time Contract (Remote, on-site, or hybrid)
COMPENSATION: $1,500 Monthly
This is a mid-level, part-time contract position with an INDEPENDENT CREATIVE AGENCY, which consists of approximately 10-15 hours per week. Applicants should be available during our normal office hours, Monday through Friday, 9am–5pm ET. There is an opportunity for growth.

Job Description
This role requires excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while staying creative and focused. You’ll write compelling copy across various platforms—websites, social media, email campaigns, and fundraising materials—while collaborating with clients and the team to develop creative solutions that support their goals.
In this role, you will:
- Craft compelling copy for a variety of projects, including websites, social media, email campaigns, fundraising appeals, and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with clients to gather and tell impactful stories, conducting interviews to create authentic and persuasive narratives.
- Shape and refine client voices to ensure messaging aligns with their mission and resonates with their audiences.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to conceptualize campaigns and contribute ideas for client and in-house marketing materials.
- Proofread and edit content with precision, maintaining high standards of accuracy while allowing room for creative license and clever wordplay.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and staying organized with support from project management tools and team members.
- Contribute to the agency’s marketing efforts, including blogs, newsletters, and social media, helping to shape its brand voice and strategy.
- Develop content optimized for search engines, leveraging tools like WordPress to create web copy that drives engagement and impact.
- Bring or develop expertise in the nonprofit sector to address clients’ unique challenges and goals with sensitivity and insight.
- Offer fresh, creative solutions to elevate client messaging and ensure copy aligns with strategic campaign goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned
