Frequently Asked Questions
Listiller.com – formerly Writer Town – is all about making money through content and freelance in general.
This comes in the form of a robust job board for writers / editors, a massive guest blog directory, among other interesting features.
There are simply too many things to mention. Refer to the main application page for a full list of features.
Relax, Listiller is not like IAPWE or other misleading places. In short, here’s the TL;DR version:
- You can access every job 100% free via the website itself. Simply register a free account on the application page.
Since this entire website is a one-man operation, you may support Listiller by opting for the following optional features:
- Receiving jobs by email
- Bookmarking (saving) jobs to view them later
- Accessing a list of 6,000+ blogs that accept guest posts
- Promoting your own blog throughout this website, in the form of a simplified banner
- Posting certain content formats for increased brand awareness
- Other goodies
But again, the ability to view and apply for jobs is 100% freely accessible via the website itself. Refer to the application page for details.
Listiller consists mostly of aggregated jobs from around the web.
However, I also request small tasks for which I pay directly. These tasks appear on the homepage (under the Listiller Tasks section).
Listiller tasks are very simple in nature, and each project can generally be completed in under 30 seconds.
Listiller tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Writing a short blurb
- Completing fun, multiple-choice questions
- Completing quizzes
- Coming up with fun questions / answers regarding various topics
- Sharing a link or article on social media
- Finding a specific link / reference
Notes:
Tasks are only available to US-based residents
You must be logged-in to access these tasks (create a Free account from the Apply page)
They’re NOT meant to be a full-time income, but rather “candy money” (a few dollars per week, in general)
Tasks are randomly available throughout the day / week and usually appear in batches of 5 to 20 at a time
These are done on a first come, first served basis (essentially, whomever grabs them first)
I pay for tasks every Sunday, sometimes earlier
Please add your PayPal address to get paid (this is done from your user profile). Otherwise, you will not get paid for that particular week
More details (including current rates) are available from the homepage once logged-in, as well as the main Apply page
Refer to the main guidelines page for details.
Subscriptions are created when you select an “Essentials” option from the application page.
As these subscriptions are created through PayPal, visit your PayPal account and cancel it from the ‘Preapproved payments’ page.
You can otherwise email Writertown@Gmail.com for help / assistance.
