Is a passionate basketball fan and a regular consumer of basketball content on YouTube, especially from channels like JimmyHighRoller and Baseball Doesn’t Exist, DylanDoesBasketball, maybe even my channel as well haha. YOU MUST BE AN EXCEPTIONAL WRITER, and obsessed with understanding virality. If you are NOT obsessed with YouTube & Basketball & Writing, this will not be a good gig for you. Has experience or a strong interest in writing video essays and video content creation. Has strong research skills and can understand and utilize advanced basketball data and stats to create persuasive/entertaining scripts to entertain an audience Is creative, capable of infusing content with humor and a unique perspective. Is self-driven, with a strong commitment to accuracy, punctuality, and fluency in English (native proficiency preferred).
Job requirements
Craft engaging, persuasive, documentary scripts (approximately 10,000 + words) once a month, ensuring they are accessible and enjoyable to our audience. Enrich our content with analytics, storytelling, and thematic elements that elevate the storytelling experience. Provide clear directions for the video editing team, including the selection of specific clips to enhance the narrative. Ensure all content is accurate and delivered consistently on time.
