This is a remote contract role for a Youth Conservative Writer at The Opinionated. The Youth Conservative Writer will be responsible for writing opinion pieces from a conservative viewpoint. They will also have the opportunity to engage with other writers and editors to develop their writing skills and contribute to meaningful discussions biweekly. Weekly tasks include writing opinion pieces, team meetings, thoughtful discussions surrounding delicate topics, social media collaborations, and prompt communication. Time commitment is to be around 3-4 hours a week, more if it is a week an article is due.
While we represent all political ideologies and backgrounds, we are currently looking for a conservative writer. However, if you fall into a different category and are deemed a perfect fit, exceptions have and can be made.

Qualifications
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to present conservative viewpoints effectively
- Interest in political issues and current events
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to work alongside those who have differing opinions
- Experience in journalism or writing-related roles is a plus but not needed
- Open to high school and college students, no degree needed
