We’re looking for a Content Writer who can produce engaging, well-researched, and SEO-optimized content for our website and marketing channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about sports and fitness, understands eCommerce trends, and can write in a clear, persuasive voice that connects with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and optimize product descriptions, category pages, and blogs focused on fitness, sports training, and recovery.
- Conduct research on sports equipment, workout trends, and competitor content to ensure accuracy and authority.
- Create content that enhances SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) visibility.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create landing pages, email campaigns, and social captions that drive traffic and conversions.
- Maintain consistent brand tone and messaging across all content channels.
- Update and refresh older articles for improved ranking and relevance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in content writing, preferably in eCommerce, sports, fitness, or health industries.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and keyword research tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Keyword Planner).
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
- Basic familiarity with Shopify, WordPress, or other CMS platforms (preferred).
- Passion for sports, fitness, or athletic performance content.
Preferred Skills
- Experience writing review, comparison, or “best of” product articles.
- Understanding of AI-driven search (AEO) and structured data optimization.
- Knowledge of affiliate content, email marketing, or copywriting for conversions.
- Graphic content or Canva skills are a plus.
