Writer for new indie magazine
Pay: $65 for 350 words — I’m working with a small independent-magazine budget, so this isn’t a high-paying publication gig yet. I’m looking for newer/developing writers who want a byline and a published clip while contributing to something we’re building.
I’m in the process of developing a bi-annual print publication and building the digital edition over the next several months, leading up to the summer 2027 print release.
What I’m looking for: a writer interested in pop culture—whether it‘s music, tv and film, fashion, social media, etc. If you have a sharp tongue, and can toe the line of being irreverent without being obnoxious, this is perfect for you.
You can write about anything and have complete creative control, we would just need to agree on the topic. Please DM your interest and a small 100 word or less sample of your favorite clip and let‘s go from there.
