Writer / Clipper – Nomad Content Studio – $17.00 – $24.00 per hour




We’re looking for an American English writer & speaker to join our team.

This role is responsible for 5 things:

-Getting videos ready for our editor to edit using a software called Descript

-Writing captions for social media for our clients

-Cleaning up video transcripts

-Reviewing our client’s videos for any errors

-Writing title cards for our client’s videos

You are a good fit if:

-If you understand what a good “hook” is and are able to write words in english that create curiosity.

-You understand what makes a good educational or entertaining video for social media.

-You have strong American English writing and comprehension skills.

-If you’re a great english speaker and consume TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube in English.

Responsibilities:

-Getting videos ready for our editor to edit using a software called Descript

-Writing captions for social media for our clients

-Reviewing our client’s videos for any errors

-Staying on top of trends on the various platforms (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook etc.)

-Tracking the performance of your content.

Skill Requirements:

-Strong written and verbal communication skills in American english

-Speed and clarity in communication (On Slack)

-Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change and learning

-You have excellent writing skills, are good at creating curiousity, and writing in informal, casual language

-You understand how to use Google Drive

-BONUS: If you know and understand Descript and have written sales copy before.

Job Requirements:

-3 meetings between Monday through Friday (1 hour each)

-You can meet deadlines every week.

-Communication is key, high-level of communication at every level.

-Excellent writing ability, understand comedic timing, and understand valuable content.

Hours:

This job is part time to full time based on the number of clients we assign you. If you have another job, I’ll need you to be able to have the ability go to full time within 1 – 2 months.

Each client is anywhere between 5 – 7 hours worth of work.

Our average writer is working on 4 clients, which is 25 – 30 hours worth of work a week, including meetings.

Pay:

$520 – $600 USD / Client per Month (Dependent on hours and skill level)

$2100 – $3600 / Monthly

We pay a per client basis rate.
