About The Role The Digital Content Specialist at Interactive Strategies is a vital member of the creative team, responsible for translating research and strategic insights into compelling digital content that enhances user experience and supports client goals. This role involves working closely with designers, strategists, and other writers to develop web copy, wireframes, and content plans that are clear, accessible, and aligned with brand voice. The specialist will support website redesigns and builds from inception through execution, managing content workflows, entry, and quality assurance within content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or Sitecore. The ideal candidate is a creative visionary, highly organized, and passionate about digital storytelling, SEO, UX writing, and accessibility. Reporting to the Director of Content Strategy, this position offers opportunities for professional development and growth across multiple facets of digital content creation, strategy, and technology integration.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in content strategy, digital content, UX writing, or related fields
- Hands-on experience with content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or Sitecore
- Experience supporting website builds or redesign projects
- Strong writing and editing skills tailored for digital platforms
- Highly organized with excellent planning and project management abilities
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and web performance optimization
- Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge and interest in AI innovations and emerging digital tools
- Curiosity, adaptability, positive attitude, and a growth mindset
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end content strategies for website redesigns and builds, including conducting audits, research, content planning, and execution
- Translate strategic insights into clear page structures, wireframe copy, and draft content
- Write and edit digital content with a focus on clarity, usability, accessibility, and maintaining brand voice
- Implement SEO and web writing best practices to enhance content performance and visibility
- Collaborate with designers to develop integrated digital experiences that combine content and visual design
- Manage content workflows, timelines, and deliverables for internal teams and clients
- Create, migrate, and QA content within content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or Sitecore
- Ensure consistency across client brand voices and style guidelines
- Stay informed about the latest content trends, tools, and emerging technologies, including AI, and incorporate relevant learnings into client work
