True Crime Bodycam Scriptwriter | Solved Files – Footage
We are looking for a True Crime YouTube Scriptwriter to join our team and specialise in the police bodycam sub-niche.
You will be working on videos built around real police bodycam footage, including arrests, traffic stops, police encounters, investigations and major incidents caught on camera.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience writing engaging YouTube scripts
- Understands storytelling and viewer retention
- Can research true crime and police cases accurately
- Can watch long-form bodycam footage and identify the strongest moments
- Understands how to build a story around real footage rather than simply describing what is happening
- Can write clear, simple and engaging narration
- Has strong attention to detail and factual accuracy
- Can follow detailed feedback and established scripting guidelines
Experience writing true crime, police or bodycam content is strongly preferred.
This is a long-term position with consistent work for the right person.
Once accepted, you will receive detailed training, research, examples and scripting frameworks showing exactly how we structure our bodycam videos.
