Technical Writer and Documentation Specialist
We are seeking a Techinal Write for our Grant Management System development project for a State Agency (our existing client).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and writing various types of user documentation, including how-to guides, manuals, references, or instructions. This candidate should have strong communication skills which enable them to explain complicated concepts in a simple manner. This individual will also meet with customer representatives frequently via Zoom/WebEx in order to understand required content.

Responsibilities
- Explain technical ideas in simple language
- Meet with customer representatives to establish technical specifications
- Create user documentation for a variety of material
Qualifications
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in technical writing.
· Experience in the specific platform/technology the project is being developed in is required.
· Strong communication skills to effectively create well documented project meeting notes, project requirements, technical specifications, and user manuals.
· Proficiency in documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, ADO, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Visio.
· Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of project activities and deliverables.
· Proficiency with industry standards and best practices for technical documentation.
· Attention to detail to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy in all written materials.
- Experience with Grant Management System (or similar) is highly preferred
- Ability to understand highly technical information
