Job Description:
- Prior experience as a technical writer who has expertise in compliance frameworks – NIST CSF
- Knowledge and understanding of IT Security policies, Security controls and Privacy (CCPA, GDPR)
- Identify business controls that exist in current policies that may not necessarily be referenced by NIST and work with stakeholders to incorporate them into new policies
Skills:
- Min. 5-7 Experience as Technical Writer in IT Security Operations
- Prior experience as technical writer that has expertise in compliance frameworks – NIST CSF Must have!
- Knowledge and understanding of IT Security policies, Security controls and Privacy (CCPA, GDPR) controls
- Prior experience and must have done interpretation of existing IT Security policies and rewriting to the NIST CSF framework
- Identify business controls that exist in current policies that may not necessarily be referenced by NIST and work with stakeholders to incorporate into new policies
- Must have good technical writing skills, documentation, and communication skills
