Sports Social Media Content Manager
The Legacy Leagues is a unique low-rim basketball league in CT, RI and MA that not only allows its players to dunk, but also give them a full experience of playing in a professional league. The Legacy League provides its players full stats, video highlights and game recaps from every game, that can be found right on the website, as well as in-game interviews broadcasted live on our Facebook page.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Oversee all content, ensuring it is produced correctly and ready to be posted on social media. Types of content include videos, Instagram Reels, sports graphics, and more.
- Produce weekly podcasts, edit the show and select sections to be highlighted on our social media pages
- Manage interns and provide weekly feedback to contribute to a strong learning culture
- Ensure content is completed on-time and deadlines are met is a must
Skill Set Required
- Prior management experience is not required, but is helpful
- Prior knowledge about video editing, graphic design, and current sports media / social media trends is a must
Location
- This is a fully remote part-time position
Compensation
- A stipend per season will be provided dependent on the number of hours per week that are required
