WHAT WE NEED
We’re currently looking for a talented Social Media Manager with proven experience in the digital and entertainment spaces. The perfect candidate is a social-media-savvy creative who has exceptional expertise in why people engage with social content and knows how to spark that fire for our clients.
The ideal candidate should have a high-level understanding of the major social media platforms and how they function best, as well as a sharp eye for attention to detail, both creatively and logistically. We want candidates who know how to write copy and captions with flair, understand how to engage entertainment and brand consumers and can speak as a subject matter expert with our clients as questions come up. RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating and implementing social media strategies for entertainment, television and lifestyle clients
- Copywriting and publishing client social media handles
- Daily community management for client accounts using their specific TOV
- Ideating static and motion-based content that pops and drives engagement
- Managing content requests from clients and ensuring accurate interpretation of any client notes or revisions
- Organizing files and tasks inside of Google Drive
- Managing projects from concept to execution, including timelines and deadlines
- Acting as the main social point of contact between Pop’N and clients on designated projects
EXPERIENCE
- 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in a social media manager role.
- Proficient with all major, current social media platforms.
- Experience in producing, and scriptwriting in the digital space is a plus
- Strong digital strategy and digital marketing sensibilities.
- Experience working as a Digital Marketing Account Manager, preferably at an Agency or an entertainment network/platform..
- Experience working in the entertainment industry is a definite plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with TV networks, film studios or streaming services like Netflix or Hulu.
- Must have a keen ability to write creative and captivating content.
- Extensive knowledge of digital file formats is a plus, specifically what types of files to request for social media posting.
- Must be a go-getter with a passion for doing things outside the box and innovating social media.
- Must also be a proactive self-starter and detail-oriented.
- Must provide excellent customer service to our roster of clients.
- A college degree is required.
COMPENSATION
This is a contract position with 20 – 40+ hours/week, depending on client-specific requests week-to-week.
