Social Media Manager, Five Cherries – $4k+ (Monthly)
Five Cherries is seeking a freelance Social Media Manager to lead the social presence of a client’s brand account. You’ll work directly with multiple stakeholders to bring the brand to life on social, leveraging modern best-in-class social practices to engage with cult-following fans while simultaneously bringing in new ones.
You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining the social strategy, content planning, community management, and monthly reporting. You’ll work closely with and oversee a Content Creator while supporting them with ongoing concepting and content execution. You’ll also partner closely with the client brand lead, formally presenting work while informally providing and receiving actionable updates.
We’re looking for someone who is motivated, extremely organized, strategically minded, a problem solver, exceptional communicator, proactive and who loves to learn and loves all things social.
Responsibilities:
- Development and maintaining Instagram social strategy with a priority of testing and learning to evolve the channel
- Overseeing content creator: supporting concept development and execution of up to 4 pieces of unique content per week
- Monthly content planning, scheduling and posting
- Community Management: engaging with community within and beyond feed twice daily, M-F
- Client management: weekly presentation of content and updates, facilitating feedback, maintaining status, managing priorities
- Project managing the social process across internal and external team ensuring tasks and deadlines are managed, communicated and delivered appropriately
- 3-4 scheduled meetings per week
- Monthly reporting
Compensation:
The role begins at approximately 10-15 hours per week at a rate of $4,000 per month, with the potential to expand over time.
