Social Media Copy Editor – $16 – $18 an hour

Coposts is seeking a creative and organized individual(s) to join our Content Team. The ideal Social Media Management Associate is an energetic, creative social media fan and short-form social post writer who thrives in a remote work environment.

The strongest candidates are organized, efficient, creative social media post-editors/writers with social media experience who can effectively multi-task. You must be able to edit and craft engaging content quickly and efficiently for various brands.

Responsibilities – You will be responsible for the following:

• Editing & enhancing pre-written social post-drafts
• Creating short-form, eye-catching social posts
• Editing 10-12 social posts per hour
• Light editing of client-submitted videos for social posts
• Quick editing of videos in Desktop Capcut for social posts
• Light editing of images in Canva & other software for posts
• Enhancing, styling, & quality assurance of social posts
• Proofing all content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Scheduling posts in social media management software
• Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook for Business, & META
• Accessible during work hours for company meetings, video calls, client support, etc.

We are looking for energetic multi-taskers who can quickly, effectively, and accurately edit & create social media posts in 3-5 minutes!

We need part-time copy editors for the following shifts:

• East Coast – 7 am – 3 pm EST US
• Central – 7 am – 3 pm CST US
• Pacific – 12 Noon – 6:00 pm PST US
• Saturdays – 8 am – 4 pm EST US

We are closed on Sundays and all major federal holidays.

Desired Skills and Experiences:

• 1-2 years of editing experience in an agency or fast-paced business with active social media profiles
• 2 years of Social Media experience in an agency or business creating social media posts
• Proactive and have excellent writing and communication skills
• Outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems
• Excellent computer skills, grammar & proofing
• Has a positive attitude & a go-getter mentality
• Capcut experience
• Canva experience
• Social media management software experience. (Sendible, Metricool, Hootsuite, Soci, Sprout Social)
• High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
• Valid Driver’s License
• Bachelor’s degree required

Computer equipment requirement:

PC – Core i9 or higher, 512 GB HD or higher, 16 MB RAM or higher, and current OS

MAC – M4 Chip of higher, 512 GB HD or higher, 16 MB RAM or higher, and current OS

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
