Social Media & Content Manager – $2,000 – $3,000 a month
We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to join us on a temporary basis from now through April 4, 2026. Your mission: leverage the incredible real-time content coming out of Cohort 1 to drive enrollment for Cohort 2 (starting April 11), all through organic social media.
We already post consistently on social media. What we need is someone who can increase the frequency, sharpen the strategy, and bring the challenge to life for our audience in real time.
Duties
- Create and publish high-frequency organic content on Instagram (our primary platform), turning raw materials into polished, engaging posts, stories, and reels.
- Mine our goldmine of real-time content: student selfie videos, parent testimonials, Skool community screenshots, office hour highlights, Tally form submissions (including uploaded family photos), and ScoreApp survey results.
- Follow the challenge timeline closely, posting highlights from Days 1–3 by Day 4, Days 4–6 by Day 7, and so on. Up-to-date content is crucial; followers should feel like they’re following along with Cohort 1 as it unfolds.
- Craft compelling CTAs that drive enrollment for Cohort 2. The offer is free, this is about enrolling families, not selling.
- Collaborate with our Director of Marketing and contribute ideas for YouTube videos, newsletter copy, and broader content strategy when needed.
- Work within our brand voice: confident, genuine, parent-and-student-focused, results-driven.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in organic social media marketing, specifically Instagram (reels, stories, carousels, and feed posts).
- A creative eye for turning raw, unpolished materials (selfie videos, screenshots, form responses) into scroll-stopping content.
- Experience with or strong understanding of organic traffic growth, going viral is not mandatory, but you should know what gives content the best shot.
- The ability to move fast. You’re comfortable picking things up quickly without weeks of onboarding.
- Strong copywriting instincts for CTAs, captions, and storytelling.
- Familiarity with tools like Skool, Tally, ScoreApp, or willingness to learn them immediately.
- Bonus: Experience in education, college admissions, or family-focused brands.
- Video Editing and Design Skills
